It won't, at least not right away.

There are two problems.

\notemap does not exist in the default class library. You won't have
it at all without installing the extension files at the gist I linked
to earlier.

Second problem: This is highly experimental code that is not finished
yet. I would not advise using it in any production context.

For now, IMO, the best approach is to edit the synthdefs as previously
discussed and to use Pmono or PmonoArtic (because these are well
tested).
