Re: [sc-users] Pbind question

wow ! This does sound very flexible and practical. thank you, will look into it as soon as I have time.
as per freq-midinote-degree i guess there are always the various .midicps (etc..) instance methods or Array.makeScaleCps for now (then again my use of Patterns is still quite limited).
Thanks, have a nice week-end!

No -- this issue is about Event internals. Currently there is no way
to apply a sub-event transparently to \freq, \midinote, \degree (and
it would be very difficult).

But -- if you check the gist again, I added a ModControl class so that
if you do `var freq = ModControl.kr(\freq, 440, \exp);` then you
automatically get controls for `\freq`, `\freqMod` and
`\freqModDepth`. Then you can use `\freq` for discrete values exactly
as before, and apply an arbitrary modulator to `\freqMod`.

IMO this is probably the best way forward.
