Re: [sc-users] Mailing List Mode

Just trying to understand better: what is the reason you'd not want to sign in (once) to a web forum, to gain access to the list? Is it because of having to create "yet another username and password"? Or privacy concerns? Since almost everything on the internet these days requires a login, I don't understand the issue (especially when there's not a corporation behind it), but I would like to.

Thanks,
Glen.

Thanks Johannes, thanks Daniel for your answers!

I am afraid but;
If I have to pick an email address to send to depending on the topic I
will refrain to post to the forum in mailing list mode. This is no
mailing list mode but a second class ripoff.

If I have to sign up on a web forum to post a new topic I will not do
so.

So, could we keep the mailing list alive then?

best, P
