I think this situation is really messy right now. Maybe a solution would try to create a kind of “AppImage” with all necessary libraries that would work in any GNU-Linux system. FOMUS project is clearly abandoned, but it’s still very useful and does the job.

Anyone could suggest a solution for FOMUS in the meantime? 

Someone mentioned a javascript music notation project, and it seems a few notation projects are being developed. Is there some integration with SuperCollider already?
