agree, a clear post / clear listener method would be a useful addition.

meanwhile you can hack the system...
"osascript -e 'tell application \"System Events\" to keystroke \"p\" using {command down, shift down}'".unixCmd

but this have multiple problems... it is macos only and scide need to be in front when you run it (no gui window can be the foremost - although i believe that could be fixed in the osascript by looking up sc's pid and bringing it to front - or similar)
