Completely agreed. Quoting myself, "The conversation/explanation
should fit the audience." If I'm addressing an audience of tech-savvy
coders who want to know more about what's happening under the hood,
yeah, I'll get into value-vs-reference (and this thread clarified some
of that for me). For the students to whom I'll be teaching interactive
media next term, that would hurt more than it helps.
