Maybe -- *maybe* -- add Extensions/quarks to the exclude paths. Don't 
disable non-quark extensions as well!

But I'm skeptical: "I upgraded to 3.7 and my quarks are gone." >Install git 
and reinstall your quarks.< "What's git?" >link to website< "Sounds 
involved... my setup was working, why did you break it?" >So you won't get 
confused when you update a quark.< "Fat lot that does for me now..."
