Thanks, that indeed makes sense. Looking at my monitor I saw that Input was
indeed fine, but nothing showing in Output showed nothing, which indeed made
me wonder. Since I'd recorded synths with no problem it hadn't dawned on me
that a microphone has to be passed to 'In', but now you explain it
everything seems clearer.
