Okay, so it turns out that I was wrong and that the header files were in
/usr/include/SuperCollider and not /usr/share/SuperCollider. I have run the
commands without errors so I assume it's worked.

Would it be possible to request that the documentation be updated with
instructions on how to identify which directory contains the magical
headers?
