i've done the current non-working build. i really don't know what went 
wrong as i just followed the usual procedure: update all prerequisites 
via macports, then build with simple sse-support (no sse4). however, i 
suspect there's changed something within the required (external) libs 
but which one? macports usually doesn't give you any options regarding 
build-optimization. and especially i've just upgraded already existing 
installations which already used for sc 3.6.1, 3.6.0...

so here's another try: sc compiled with simple sse-support, using the 
boost-version that's shipped with the sc-sources (i've got another 
boost-version installed via macports). this is more or less a shot in 
the dark as i don't know if boost caused that problem. but maybe it 
helps? please let me know:
