[sc-users] Re: SC on iDevice connectivity

hello.

here :

http://www.ohscope.com/2009/02/serial-port-on-iphone-with-minicom.html

a little tutorial showing how you can connect sensor through arduino sending
serial data to iphone using serial pins of dock connector. on
iphone(jailbreaked) there's application called minicom reading data and
printing it on screen...

if we would be able to format this data in proper OSC way and send it to
localhost...

other way is use something like asynclabs yellojacket or their wifi shield
for arduino...

also, there's ipad camera connection kit, which works on iphone/ipod touch
with newest firmware, my guess is that u getting serial data through it as
well. It also allows you to use 16 bit audio interfaces with idevices, and
apple promising coreMidi support in next update. I guess it wouldn't be that
hard to implement coreMidi support in iSC,since it is already supported on
mac version.

Well, there seems to be few possible solutions, but i personally have not
enough expertise to give you more detailed answer, let's hope that somebody
will say:"hey,it's simple, just follow my advice..."))
