[sc-users] freetts and windows (noob)

I'm new to SC (half way through the Cottle book). I was recently reviewing my
reading (had to put SC down for a month to complete a time lapse project)
and decided to give the "Hello World".speak; example a try. I downloaded
freetts, set up the classpath, etc... I continue to get the error:

getObject : java.lang.ClassNotFoundException :
com.sun.speech.freetts.VoiceManager
	at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(Unknown Source)
	at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method)
	at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(Unknown Source)
	...
FAILURE /method Object not found : com.sun.speech.freetts.VoiceManager
FAILURE /methodr Cannot operate on null result
FAILURE /method Object not found : speech
FAILURE /set Object not found : speech
FAILURE /method Object not found : speech

I've tried dynamically adding classes, moving the freetts.jar to various
locations, but to no avail.

Has anyone had success having SC locate freetts in the Windows environment,
and would be willing to help a newcomer?
