Re: [sc-users] installing scplugins ubuntu 9.04 from apt-get already compiled
Hi all. Currently I'm away and reading this on a very lo-fi connection
so I'll be brief.

The tagline on that PPA is "PPA builds by Dan that might be slightly
experimental" - the sc3plugins package was highly experimental, a
total work in progress. The lack of a decent sc3-plugins package is an
obvious gap - Miguel, you shouldn't have to dive into all of this, we
should have already got it working, but it hasn't been a priority. Now
I'd like to get it done, in part to put into the upcoming puredyne
release.
FYI the development version of puredyne (c+c) is based on ubuntu
karmic (9.10), has scel sced and scvim, nice realtime kernel and USB
persistence. I've been using it and tweaking it over the past few
weeks, should be a very good choice for sc+linux
