Re: [sc-users] Windows XP and SuperCollider

Yes,

it seems to work fine now, however I didn't get to heavy testing yet :-).
Why don't you use GIT or SVN to sync your files? (I'm using windows/linux on multiple machines to..) ohh.. probaly because you don't have a second backup machine which is always on?

Thanks for your help,
Brecht

Thanks for your advice so far..
However I would realy like to work in linux (since I normally use linux mainly). The problem is
that most users who use Percussa software use mac or windows.
So they expect that I write a program which works in mac and linux :-).

I see -- I hope I wasn't too negative about the Windows version. I use it myself to try to sneak in a little composition work during my lunch hour in the office. Now that I think about it, the biggest problems in that workflow for me are related to configuration -- files in different locations, extension libraries out of sync between my Mac and XP machines. Windows-specific bugs are actually relatively rare.

Did the OSCresponder work better after separating it from printing?
