Try this tutorial for starters Gives a basic intro to SC and linux audio and midi http://www.agnula.info/documentation/dp_tutorials/sc3/ or this one from CCRMA http://ccrma.stanford.edu/planetccrma/software/supercollider-en/index.htmlThen the tutorial called Tutorial in the help files is pretty good. Not for linux per say but after translating the key commands from the tutorials written for mac into to emacs key commands. The rest is pretty much the same for mac -> linux
Open help files with key command 'ctl - alt - h' in emacs ede add one. On 27-Jul-09, at 11:12 PM, nescivi wrote:

(scel/emacs, scvim, or sced/gedit) How did he install it? (manual compile or from a package?) Is JACK running? s = Server.local.boot; should start the server as usual. There are READMEs in each editor folder, and in the linux folder of thesource package. There is a Shortcuts helpfile with an overview of what the different shortcuts are in the different editors. sincerely, Marije _______________________________________________ sc-users mailing list info (subscription, etc.): http://www.beast.bham.ac.uk/research/sc_mailing_lists.shtml archive: https://listarc.bham.ac.uk/marchives/sc-users/ search: https://listarc.bham.ac.uk/lists/sc-users/search/_______________________________________________ sc-users mailing list info (subscription, etc.): http://www.beast.bham.ac.uk/research/sc_mailing_lists.shtml archive: https://listarc.bham.ac.uk/marchives/sc-users/ search: https://listarc.bham.ac.uk/lists/sc-users/search/
