This looks interesting. I've put genloop.sc in ~/Library/Application Support/SuperCollider/Extensions/

I do

s.waitForBoot({x = GenLoop.new(120, 4, 40)});

which brings up the GUI and starts the metronome, but how do I get input to it? 

I have a guitar plugged in, and I can hear the guitar by doing 

a = {var in, freq=1000; in = LeakDC.ar(AudioIn.ar(1), 0.999);  Out.ar([0,1], in)}.play;

in SC 3.3.1, but there's no indication in the VU meter. What am I missing? (Sorry for the n00b question :)

I recently made a screencast demo for my generative (mixing and rhythms) looper. You can't hear the metronome at the beginning (I have it in my headphones), but this is how the quantisation of recording is possible.
I accidentally improvised for longer than the recording buffer (should have used a bigger one), but this makes for some interesting results. There are many features missing (it was written for to a university deadline) which may be implemented in the future.
