Re: [sc-users] XP glitch

Hiho,

where did yj777's message come from anyway?
not from the list, it seems?

SC is short on active Windows developers...
SC started its life on OSX, hence most people and most devs are on OSX, Linux support has been added and is maintained, pretty much from community support (I guess the fact that Linux people are used to open source, and report verbose, and if possible with patches, when they encounter problems has helped this a lot, I think).
On Windows, we seem to get mostly users, not potential developers... which is unfortunate, but not really something we can do a lot about...
Open source is a do-ocracy after all.

Anyway, if you have a question about SC on Windows, do post it to the list (and this list only, forums never really caught on with our community), and there will be people who answer the question. You may need to be a bit more verbose on what your problem is, and how it occurs, for the right people to steer you to the solution.

sincerely,
Marije
