Re: [sc-users] [announce] SuperCollider Language Plugins

yep. The binary is incomplete (really just the language...)

Miguel,
i confirm what Josh said : the test package does not include any scsynth related stuff. you'll have to copy those if you want to use it.
but remember it is a *test* package !

WOW ! Mind blowing. Those cocoa buttons examples are so sweet ! and it seems really easy to use. Could it be that sc will actually nice to look at ? :-) The openGL thing could also be big news. Will supercollider become a visualists tool also ? Besides the sclang plugins thing is the source the same as sc3.3 ? Are there plans to put this into the vanilla sc ?

congratulations, great work !
Congrats Charles and blackrain! Amazing. I can't wait to play with it more. As for moving this in to main, personally I think we should do some and benchmarking (have you noticed any performance hit with the plugins?)

right now my main patch doesn't work with this version of sc, so it's different from the current svn sc... The localhost won't even boot. And when playing in internal i get errors like:
*** ERROR: SynthDef system_link_audio_1 not found
FAILURE /s_new SynthDef not found
exception in GraphDef_Recv: UGen 'Control' not installed.

But this is to be expected I guess, it's alpha and a lot of stuff has been changing for 3.3. :-)
