Re: [sc-users] [linux] Impulse question

that could be possible but wouldn't be that great either. I think though
that its the filter somehow swallowing it:

// doesn't work
SynthDef(\imp,{
	arg freq=0;
	Out.ar(0,HPF.ar(Impulse.ar(freq).dup,1000))
}).play(s,[\freq,0])

reproduces the problem without EnvGen. LPF also mutes the Impulse
completely, regardless of the filter frequency. Delaying the signal by
approx. 0.01 ms lets the impulse appear... hmmmm

// works
SynthDef(\imp,{
	arg freq=0;
	Out.ar(0,HPF.ar(DelayC.ar(Impulse.ar(freq).dup, 0.1,0.01),5000))
}).play(s,[\freq,0])

any ideas?

best,
