After the first time, you can put the w3m window on a separate frame, and then
the help will always be popped up there.
There's also the shortcuts other people have been suggesting.

You don't even need to doubleclick the word... if the cursor is in it, it will
suggest that one...
And you can even type part of a keyword, and use TAB to get autocompletion
options of what the word might be. This is a feature where the emacs
interface is quite nice.

Be sure to read the helpfile EmacsEditor... it has a lot of useful keyboard
shortcuts and other suggestions.
