Hi Nathaniel! Thank you so much for taking the time, I really appreciate 
your helpful suggestion.

There would be between 12 and about 100 data points involved. They can 
be specified on the language side, within a SynthDef, or both.

Would you be so kind as to explain how to use an Env to do control rate 
mapping? Currently I know only how to use an Env with EnvGen to create a 
time-based envelope, and I would need to know how to use Env with a 
control-rate index.
