I should check the lists more often, so it's Safari Beta 4 causing
me all this fuss. Mail was affected too (see below) but maybe you
all know this already. I can't seem to sign up for the dev-list for
some reason:
"Mail uses WebKit to display messages, and one of the changes in
Safari 4's new WebKit is stricter enforcement of which thread you
call it on. We call a method named attributedString in Mail; it
calls WebKit's method; WebKit's method raises an exception because
we (indirectly) called it from a secondary thread."
Sounds familiar. I presume this will still be the case when Safari
4 is released properly?

Luckily Safari4.0BetaLeo.dmg comes with Safari4.0BetaUninstall.pkg
which removes all of safari4 and returns the earlier version you
were using (here 3.2.1 (5525.27.1).
