Yes, I understand what you're after I think.
This is where you might save yourself the trouble:
3) I don't have to worry about code during the gig, I have a python
script with my setlist.
Make an SC script that starts and stops patches.
Then you boot the server, initialise whatever you need, etc. when
soundchecking,
and have an SC script or SC GUI or SC MIDI responders that trigger new
SC pieces.
Why use Python when you've got SC?
