Re: [sc-users] Divider line in CocoaMenuItem and other GUI questions

Hi Chad,

I only know the answer to your first question. It is SCMenuSeparator (check the helpfile). Only make sure your separator isn't the last object added to the menu (regardless of its position in the menu itself), since that will crash sc on recompile.

cheers,
Wouter

Is it possible to insert a divider line into a CocoaMenu, as you can
with SCPopupMenu? Using "-" as the name of a menu item does not do the
trick.

Has anyone implemented a contextual ("right-click") menu?

Recently, I saw someone discussing being able to control the starting
directory in a Dialog, but is there any momentum towards improving the
Open/Save Dialog so that, for example, one could set a default string
(in a save box) and filter files by type/extension (i.e, only let the
user select files of type xyz)?

TIA,

Chad
