Re: [sc-users] WiimoteLib
Thanks Pete. I've tried this with 2 controllers, one of which has
been paired with a Wii. I've also tried with someone else's MB and a
fresh install of everything (instead of my MBP). I usually try to
connect several times in a row in case it requires some luck with the
flaky connection. But - now that you and Tim have reassured me of the
steps and what I should be seeing, it looks like I'm out of luck for
one reason or another. If I can, I'll try a 3rd Wii remote.
For the record, connecting with DarwiinOSC is also flaky, but after
having used it for a couple months, I'd say it connects 80% of the
time, and in the other 20% of cases the app just crashes. Once
connected, I've never had any problems. The latest version of Darwiin
itself seems much more solid. Maybe the OSC extension will be updated
too...
Anyway, thanks for the insight and I understand that your son takes
priority over sonic Wiimote explorations. Maybe when he's older the
two interests will intersect :)
