I think it must have been the standalone on realizedsound 

_before_ the 3.1 standalone. 

I tried the 3.1. one now and it seems to work. (it even creates both server windows

blackrain, I sometimes use your way of making standalones, but the problem is obviously

the duplication issue with the extensions folder.
