[sc-users] Extension directories - nasty hack required

Hmm... I need to maintain an up-to-date svn build AND a sc3.1.1 build. Among other differences, FreeVerb2 is now part of svn but was not when sc3.1.1 went out. So, if I put FreeVerb2 in my extensions directory, I get a duplicate class error in the svn environment. And if I leave it out, it's not available in the 3.1.1 environment.

So as a temporary measure, I had to hack SC_DirUtils.cpp in the source to change the app support directories to SuperCollider-dev... wow. There really must be a better way to support multiple configurations for the same user. I know about .sclang.cfg but since that goes in the user's home directory, wouldn't it apply to every install?

Am I missing something?
