its quite known that the WiiRemote doesnt like the PowerMacs too much.
Cos there appears to be a basic Bluetooth bug in the OS.
Intels are much better.
I have good experience using DarwiinRemoteOSC by andreas schlegel;
I prefer it also cos I get some independence from the controller:
SC doesnt brutally crash upon a connection failure, but just keeps
on doing the same ole thing, instead.

I'm also having problems getting the wii controller to connect with
SC3.
on sending s.sendMsg(\cmd, \wiimoteStart);
I manage to connect OK for about 2 seconds, then connection is
lost &
I'm asked to press the sychronize button. Doing this produces a
WiiRemoteDiscoveryError 268435459.
a further attempt to make a connection crashes SC3 every time.
Here are the details....

press 1 and 2 on the Wiimote device

lost connection with WiiRemote
Please press the synchronize button
