well since the judgement i picked up was a while back and i don't  
want to spread bad word unjustifiably, i talked back again. he says  
that the thing still has a few teething troubles, but generally works  
fine. they particularly have two issues, one is about sample rate  
switching with several unites cascaded, the other one is a problem  
with distortion for loud microphones since the unit seems to miss a  
pad switch. apart from that he says the sound quality is good  
regarding the price of the device.
