Re: [sc-users] [Linux] sc3-plugins

I got it. The SConstruct from Andrzej runs through without errors, but i only checked the BFEncode1 UGen. It works fine.

Actually, for linux it is better to use the local Server, because if you boot the internal the SwingGUI is not working properly. I got a message like this, when I tried to run .scope on the internal server:

java.net.SocketException: Invalid argument

Is there a reason why you put this line in the help of BFEncode1?

Server.default=s=Server.internal.boot;

To nescivi: I didn´t change the ld.so.conf. It still says:

include /etc/ld.so.conf.d/*.conf
/usr/local/lib

Seems to be sufficient.

Thanks to you all for supporting me during this experience.

Sincerely,

Björn

The problem is that ldconfig does not know that you have put the plugin in a
location it does not know.

make sure that the path the plugins end up in (so the .so files), is known in
the file
/etc/ld.so.conf
