Re: [sc-users] More RAM, but still the audio glitch :(



For me it's definitely connected to launching new synths with new ugens.

My reproducible test case is attached - should be obvious enough, just
step through - note that for me it's only guaranteed to cause the
glitch if I reboot the laptop before trying it; seems that it's a
first-timer issue.

Blackrain's suggested fix seems to work great for me, namely to ensure
the plugins are compiled with G4 rather than G5 optimisations (G5 is
the setting chosen in the SVN Xcode projects). Seems not to matter
whether scsynth is compiled with G4 or G5 optimisations. This is
obviously (?) not the solution for cylob's machine though.
