When I start Logic on port 9987, default,
the server doesn't bind; the server window turns
yellow not red. If I change the port in both logic and
supercollider - to say 9999, the server boots and I get sound, but
not through the logic channel.

Thanks for sending the example. I'll update my version
of the SC AU plugin and see what happens. I'm running
on a G4 also.
