One question (as you are basing this on Puckette's work): In the [fiddle~] object of PD you can specify how many pitches (partials) you are interested in detecting. Is that possible here?
You can pass an amplitude buffer in for the expected partials profile: set some to zero to customise?
I also have a version of Qitch which fills a buffer with the top bins found rather than just one pitch output, called Citch (it's not a big change to the source). This should get released with one of the interactive music systems later on. Oh, and there'll also be Kitch, for simple key tracking. I hesitate to add any more rhymes for Pitch at this point...
Dan (or others), I saw Tartini working well at ICMC2005 last year; the author was up for an SC implementation. I haven't got round to it myself, but he's released source too, so a useful project for some point for someone to convert this. I'm sure he'd be happy if anyone wanted to contact him and offer...
Or is it possible even with the Pitch UGen? Thanks\ thor _______________________________________________ sc-users mailing list sc-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.create.ucsb.edu/mailman/listinfo/sc-users
