Now, since the sf-cvs again works, could someone please add this help file to the distro?

thanx in advance

I've written a little help-file for date (attached)

While writing it, I haven't be able to manually create a (valid) Date object from scratch, since for this I had to know the exact raw seconds since 1970...
Any hints someone?

Actually it does; it is called Date
it just doesn't have a helpfile.
But looking at the implementation should make it clear how it works:
Type Date, select it and Cmd-J on mac
C-c : Date on Linux/emacs

but I guess that Main.elapsedTime is more accurate for your purpose.
