One piece of news is that processor _always_ sends from port 11999. You can only change the receiving port. However I have now set the receiving port to 11999 as well. I can message to processor from SC Lang, but processor still gets no reponses from SCSynth if I send it a "/c_get" message from processor (though I can verify that SC synth got the message). Now I have two things left (that i can think of at the moment): send a "/c_get" message from another program like pd, and see if it gets a reponse. The last things I can think of is that a response from the SC server is formatted slightly different than a regular message, and that processing simple ignores the reponse for that reason. Or SC won't reply to processor for some reason. If SC Server replies to pd, I'm going to email the processing programmer for help. thanks again, jostM |
