I've done some stuff based on processing (http://processing.org/)  
using oscP5 (http://www.sojamo.de/iv/index.php?n=11) last year...
It's far from being finished, but if you want, I could send the first  
results to you off list...
There is also a way to get openGL-support via jogl...
