To verify whether the startup file is making the setting correctly,
dump the server options before booting the server:

Server.local.options.dump;

Could you paste that output into an e-mail?

Also, when the server starts it prints out a list of all the devices
and their input/output streams. Could you copy and paste that the same
into the e-mail as well?
