definitely launch the Digi CoreAudio Manager app before any audio
apps. and change hardware specs there.
i'd like to publicly say here how disappointed i am to hear about
digi's "new" mbox2. same old crap, usb 1.1, not even with the
focusrite preamps. nor insert ability. (though it has midi! wow.)
they could have done so much more.

have you ever noticed when booting verbosely how early the digi
coreaudio drivers assert themselves? and then there's a line that says:
"Digi IO has a funnel lock. Whoa, Momma!"
what the hell does that mean?
