[sc-users] digidesign sample rate
hello
anyone knows how to get f*****ing digidesign hardware to work at a sample rate other than 96k when launching supercollider? i'm using their latest panther core audio driver and no matter what -S option i specify (scsynth reports it's running at 44.1 khz but all the pitches are wrong of course), this bitch will always launch in 96k. i tried to switch the rate inside protools, but as soon as i quit and re-launch scsynth, it will go back to 96k. i know i *have* worked with 44.1 khz some day, but can't figure out any more how i did it. these bastards sell their 10000 EUR hardware and are not able to program a bloody audio driver, it's really true, i've never seen a core audio driver being so shitty as digidesign's one. but what can you do, i have to get it running here. thank god apple's got their built in sound card.
thanks for hints. ciao, -sciss-
