no. \delta is "inter-onset-interval", \dur is logical (i.e. notated)
duration, and \sustain is the gate-on time which takes into account
the \legato setting.
\delta is derived from \dur unless you set it explicitly. If you want
to control \delta directly, set \delta directly, don't play games with
\dur. It is entirely possible to control \delta and \dur
independently.
