Nil-remove Re: [sc-users] bug related to recent Buffer changes

Got it!

Nil-remove is in a crucial GUI extension which is not compiled under Linux
for obvious reasons. Sorry I didn't check that.

Since this means things will break for anybody who removes crucial, I'll
commit a general fix shortly.

I have to remember to pull out crucial and JIT when testing things.
