hard syncing wave tables doesn't really make much sense. You get glitchy waveforms.
The Formant oscillator does a kind of windowed sync of sine waves.A wavetable windowed sync oscillator could be written. Synth-O-Matic (a 1990 precursor to SuperCollider) had one such ugen.
