[sc-users] soundcard latency

i am using a vxpocket v2 soundcard (pcmcia)

when using sc2 os9, i was able to select the soundcard
in sc, and since it's driver was set to higher latency the
sample block size was greater (512) and i got 30-50% more cpu
power.

in osx there is a way to set the latency of the soundcard with the 
pocket vx
control application, but it doesn't appear to improve sc.
anything i can do to take advantage of this soundcard ?
