[sc-users] floats in archives?

Was there a change in how floats are coded in archives (e.g. 
myObject.writeArchive(path))? I was storing some sequencing info in an 
archive, and all my floats have suddenly gone from 0..1 to 0..3.03e-319 
or something close to that. (I just did a cvs update, having returned 
from vacation yesterday.)

I'll manage to restore the correct ranges but I'd like to know what's 
going on.
