Hmm, I feel it would be a rather useful thing for some.
The current Pen definition hints that it would be suitable
for simple data visualizations, especially since the graphics
server seems (does it?) to have a long way to go.

SCEnvelopeView offered a kludgish solution to my problem but
a more general and more efficient drawing tool would be great.
