specifically you mean classic mode os 9.
normal boot into os 9, vx pocket works fine using os 9 drivers.
vx pocket works fine using os x drivers in os x.


i can get sound out of the card in OSX using a driver
for OSX, but for some reason in OS9, the Control cant find the card or
driver it is looking for...
so really i guess the revised version of my problem is that something is 
wrong with how the drivers for the VXPocket work in OS9



vx pocket ASIO will not work in classic mode.  you can stop trying now.
there is nothing you can do.
boot into os 9 when you want to use sc2.


 or what path they
use to look for the card, not exactly a SC question anymore but maybe
someone might be able to help me anyway...i cant imagine i am the only
person who has met with this difficulty before...

do you mean to say that you are running OS X ?  sc2 will not work
there, not even in classic mode.



i noticed that in the VX Control it looks like there is no card at
all, if that information helps at all....


does it work with any other application ?  probably not i assume.

working with sc.....
