[sc-users] sc2.2.16 vs. VXPocket newbie question

well i've done as much research into my problem as i think is possible 
and to no avail so i hope the experts here can help me....

i'm trying to begin using sc2.2.16 but when i choose the Digigram VX 
ASIO from the audio setup i get an error that says  " ASIO ERROR : 
Board not present "

i have a brand new G4 running OSX and i've installed the most recent 
ASIO driver (2.8.3) for my VXPocket v2 card.  this driver is for OS9 
because apparently there is no ASIO driver yet for OSX and i wonder if 
maybe that is where the problem is coming from, but like i said, i am 
new to this, so i'm definitely not sure.....

i noticed that in the VX Control it looks like there is no card at all, 
if that information helps at all....

thanks for taking yr time to help a new friend, i'm dying to start 
working with sc.....
