Hi James,

	The ‘rec’ code is missing from what you emailed.  But I think I reconstructed it and, on OSX, the sample distances are uniformly 441 except for the first.
I don’t hear the once per second discontinuity audible in the sound file when running the code directly.  So, this may be a Linux problem.
