... what's actually not included in above test as only deltas from pulse to pulse
are regarded: if both channels start with the same sample.
This was included in the checks Gerhard Eckel performed,
it was always true in my tests for RT and NRT. 
I omitted it by accident in above version.

You can check with

~leftIndices[0] == ~rightIndices[0]
