Just discovered today that keyboard shortcuts for menu commands (cmd-n etc.) are passed through to views that have focus. In itself, that's the right behavior but it has some unexpected side effects in the server window. It took a little while for me to figure out why I would sometimes get queryAllNodes output, until I realized I was clicking "Boot" in the server window and then typing cmd-n for a new document. The server window responds to 'n' as if cmd were not pressed. I'm happy to add some modifier checks, unless someone thinks it's a bad idea for some reason. I would check for cmd and alt keys, and ignore the key down if either is set. hjh : H.
